A new website for the Institute of Myology
A new design, enriched content, simpler, smoother and more intuitive navigation, and an innovative AI-powered search engine… The Institute of Myology has completely redesigned its website to provide users with a more seamless and effective browsing experience. The new site makes the expertise and knowledge of this centre dedicated to muscle and muscle diseases more accessible than ever.
Founded in 1996 on the initiative of AFM-Téléthon, the Institute of Myology is an international centre of expertise in muscle, based at the Pitié-Salpêtrière Hospital in Paris. Today, it brings together more than 300 experts and is currently conducting 60 clinical trials. Its activities encompass diagnosis, care, clinical research, basic and applied research, assessment and education, all with one shared objective: to accelerate muscle research and medicine for the benefit of patients.
A new gateway to the world of muscle
Structured around the Institute’s key missions, the new website provides an overview of its clinical, scientific and educational activities, while also helping visitors gain a better understanding of muscle and muscle diseases.
Its redesigned interface and more dynamic, highly visual identity make the various types of content easier to access and understand. New sections offer further insights into muscle, how it works and the role it plays in our health. A dedicated area is also available for donors and corporate sponsors wishing to support research into muscle and muscle diseases.

Myo, a new assistant designed to make information easier to find
The website also features Myo, an AI-powered search assistant. Available directly from the homepage, it allows visitors to ask a question or enter a keyword or topic to find information and access relevant content on the website more easily.
Fully responsive, the new website can be accessed from a computer, tablet or smartphone. It is also available in English.
