More than ever, the French people said “Yessss” to the Téléthon! The exceptional Téléthon 2025 fundraising total reflects the remarkable trust and loyalty of volunteers, donors and partners committed alongside us. A huge thank you to each and every one of you!

The final Téléthon 2025 total stands at €100,548,314. An exceptional result reflecting a more unifying Téléthon than ever before, embodying a France brought together and united in celebration and conviviality around the fight led by families and researchers.

The success of Téléthon 2025 represents strong recognition of the journey accomplished since the first Téléthon in 1987, when parents stepped out of the shadows to save their children and loved ones from a predetermined death. The incredible human adventure born that year made it possible to bring rare diseases, affecting 3 million people in France, out of oblivion and ignorance, and to drive forward an innovative medicine that today saves lives. While the first victories are paving the way for many more, the Téléthon gives us the essential means to turn research into treatments and fulfil the promise made to our children.

“On behalf of patients and families, a huge thank you for this magnificent final Téléthon 2025 result. Thank you to the volunteers, donors and partners who show us unwavering trust and loyalty. Thank you to our sparkling patron Santa, and to the teams at France Télévisions and Radio France who have amplified the voices of families and researchers since the very first Téléthon. What pride and how far we have come! Thirty-nine years ago, rare diseases were invisible, families were alone facing scientific and medical emptiness, and patients were isolated, on the margins of society. Thanks to the Téléthon, everything has changed. Together, we have helped bring about an innovative medicine that today saves lives. The first steps, the laughter and the energy of children who have benefited from these treatments are victories we owe to you and promises for the families who are still waiting.

Strengthened by your support, which allows us to overturn disease, we are more determined than ever because today, the promise made to our children, families and donors is becoming reality! I look forward to seeing you again on 4 and 5 December for a groundbreaking 40th Téléthon!” said Laurence Tiennot-Herment, President of AFM-Téléthon.

I encountered so many life stories, but also such a powerful desire to live and to turn everything upside down! Seeing little children who have been treated gives strength and hope to all those who are still waiting, so we do not have the right to stop! Thank you for this extraordinary result!”
