92,905,533 is the final amount raised by the Telethon held on 8 and 9 December 2023. This exceptional result bears witness to the unfailing mobilization of millions of donors, volunteers, and partners throughout France and abroad.

LGMD Awarness Day: Stronger Together!
The 30th of September is Limb-Girdle Muscular Dystrophy Awareness Day. At this occasion, the LGMD Interest Group of the AFM-Téléthon is planning an information day about these diseases in Evry.

Licence agreement for the development of a treatment for Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS)
ILTOO Pharma and the European consortium MIROCALS have just announced the signing of a license agreement for the development of a low-dose Interleukin 2 as a potential treatment for amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). The AFM-Telethon helped finance this clinical study, which shows an improvement in patient survival.

This tremendous result - the best since 2016 - shows how much the French people support the families’ fight against rare diseases.
Téléthon 2022 : € 78 051 091. Thank you very much!
The Téléthon 30-hour-long broadcast ended with donations totaling 78 051 091 euros. From Guebwiller to Cassis, Dijon, Lorient and Cap-Ferret, millions of people came together again for the Téléthon, this unique celebration with its thousands of events. A vital support for the families and researchers, “these saving lives maniacs” as Kev Adams called them. But while researchers’ victories multiply, all week-end long patients and their families reminded everyone of the urgency of finding new treatments.

An amount reflecting the generosity of the general public, the energy felt during thousands of Telethon events throughout France and abroad, and the strength of families’ fight and researchers’ determination. This unique combination is the cause for a true revolution in medicine that saves lives and opens up new prospects for treatment.
77 298 024 € raised for the 2020 Téléthon!
Last December 4th and 5th, the 2020 Telethon took place in a difficult context due to the COVID19 crisis with donations totalling nearly 58.3 million euros by the end of the TV broadcast. A few months later, we are extremely proud to share the exceptional final result of our 2020 fundraising campaign: 77 298 024 euros. Thank you so much!
